Harmony Extravaganza - featuring Crescendo!

Alberta Gold was very pleased to take part in the 2018 Harmony Extravaganza, on Wednesday, April 24, hosted by Vocal-Motion Chorus. Each Calgary chorus and competing quartet presented a competition package for an appreciative audience. One highlight of the evening was to sing in a large group featuring most of the evening's performers. The one-time Calgary chorus was called "Crescendo" and it was a pleasure to sing on the risers with so many other women from our city. Next week we all head to Surrey, BC where we will present these same packages on stage, for the audience and the judges. Alberta Gold is excited to present our package and looking forward to a fun and educational weekend away! Go Calgary!

We are excited to be preparing for our annual Regional Competition, and hope you will join us and other Calgary area choruses and quartets on April 25, 2018 at McDougall United Church for Harmony Extravaganza! More details will be coming soon.

With more than 5,000 participants and volunteers, this year's run raised over $900,000 in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. For more information go to http://www.cancer.ca/en/?region=ab.
